It was a great day for our team to get updated on the latest research and innovation in the field of Periodontics (gums), Implants, with an emphasis on restoring cosmetics and function.

Continuing education is something that is extremely important for dentists. Dentistry is a profession that is constantly changing. Research centers throughout the world invest endless time, money and energy into dental research. This may take the form of improving materials that are available for dentists to use, revamped protocols, or the introduction of new treatment methods. Jerusalem Fluoride Update

Knesset Approves Mandatory Fluoridation of Drinking Water
In March 2016, the Knesset approved mandatory water fluoridation throughout the country.  Currently, in Jerusalem, and throughout the country, fluoride is not added to the water. In areas without fluoride in the water, such as throughout Israel right now, both the American Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association recommend the administration of fluoride tablets or drops to young children in certain situations. Your Jerusalem Dentist, Dr. Simone Landau will be able to guide you as to whether or not your child would benefit from fluoride supplementation.
