Part of ensuring that your implant is a success is follow-up dental implant care after your implant.
After the initial healing phase, you will visit your dentist as frequently as every 3-4 months to see how the implants are integrating into your jaw bone.
X-rays will be taken after 6 months, and then yearly for the next few years.
The dentist, or dental assistant will review how you care for the implants, implant-crowns, and implant-bridges at home, in order to ensure their optimal health.
Your dentist may decide to clean your implants using special instruments, and may rinse the implants with a special anti-microbial solution.
