Before we prepare you for dental implants, we make sure that dental implants are the best solution for you and that installing implants will be successful.
Some or all of these steps may be included, but not necessarily in the same visit:
Medical questionnaire, including information about your medical and dental history
Examination of your mouth
X-ray evaluation
Diagnostic models
Discussion of the different treatment options with their benefits and drawbacks
Ordering of additional records including CT scans, pictures of your face and smile, and more models.
Formulation of your treatment plan
A letter may be sent to your doctor, with your consent, to clarify the stability of any medical conditions.
We may have the lab produce a diagnostic wax-up of the crowns or bridges, that way you can see how your new smile will look
Changes are made to the treatment plan if needed, and a final treatment plan is produced, discussed with you, and approved by you.
